Network & System Administrator / DevOps System Engineer

For our location in Brasov, Romania we are currently looking for:

1. Network & System Administrator

- Administering the company's servers and workstations;
- Monitor the application, servers and network;
- Contribute to automate tasks & configuration of Linux & Windows Systems;
- Software installations and upgrades to operating systems and software packages;
- Propose optimization solutions for improved performance of the application and lower resource usage;
- Monitor and tune the systems to achieve an optimum level of performance;
- Manage the companies network security and performance;
- Identify, solve and document the root of unexpected issues;
- Research and develop new technologies;
- Constant awareness of potential security risks and proactive approach to prevent them.

- Experience configuring and managing one or more of: firewalls, VPNs, SMTP/POP3/IMAP/Webmail, DNS, DHCP, SSH, AD;
- Experience with one or more of: Linux (Centos, Redhat), Windows 2008/2012 Server, Windows 7/8/10 workstations, Apache, IIS, Database systems (MS-SQL/MySQL/Oracle),
- Knowledge about monitoring systems (e.g. Nagios, Cacti, Check_MK)
- Familiar with security and backup procedures;
- Good knowledge of network essentials;
- Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to organize, plan and prioritize work;
- Capability to read and write technical English documentation;
- You independently look out to enrich your knowledge on new technologies, particularly free software/open source technologies;
- Communication and team working skills;

- Solid and broad scripting skills (Bash, Powershell, Perl etc.)
- Experience in working with: bash, Perl, Python, Powershell;
- Advanced database administration skills (replication, high availability, loadbalancing, failover,);
- MCP (MCSA) or CCNA studies/certifications;


2. DevOps System Engineer

- Ramp up new deployment pipelines
- Evaluate and improve internal development tools;
- Maintain, support and enhance various environments and their backend services, within the agreed SLA.
- Be the spearhead in general deployment improvement;
- Be aware of all needs within the development teams, strive for excellence in providing tools and environments that foster efficient and high-quality development.
- Continue and improve documentation of all service operations.

- Good knowledge about automation/configuration/deployment management systems.
- Fair understanding of Spring (Cloud), Java / JVM framework;
- Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure, high availability and scalability;
- Good knowledge of logging, monitoring and operational analytic tools;
- Fair knowledge of one of the following databases: MS SQL, MYSQL
- Good knowledge of Linux and Windows administration,
- Good knowledge of networking and protocols
- Fair knowledge of CI platforms such as Jenkins or TeamCity;
- Knowledge about monitoring systems (e.g. Nagios, Cacti, Check_MK)
- Strong verbal and written communication in English.

- Knowledge of monitoring & alerting tools (e.g. Nagios, ELK’s)
- Solid and broad scripting skills (Bash, Powershell, Perl etc.)
- Good automation framework (e.g. Puppet / Chef/ Salt/ Ansible) and containerization knowledge (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Vagrant)
- Knowledge of Databases: MariaDB, MongoDB, PostGreSQL
- Experience with Continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, TeamCity), artifact repository managers (e.g. Artifactory), version control systems (e.g. GIT , Bitbucket Server, SVN,)
